Australian educators using The Alpha School System (TASS) can now check student work with Turnitin’s similarity checking functionality without leaving their learning management system (LMS) environment.
Through an integration with TASS and Turnitin, teachers and instructors using TASS LMS can now check the authenticity of their students’ work against an industry-leading internet and publications database complemented by a global student paper repository, in their preferred day-to-day workflows.
‘The integration with TASS enables us to provide the comprehensive Turnitin similarity checking functionality that our local customers have been asking for and need,’ said James Thorley, Regional Director of Asia Pacific at Turnitin. Building a culture of integrity is a priority for education leaders in Australia and with this new partnership, TASS can provide our customers with an effective solution to address this concern.’
‘Turnitin’s similarity checking functionality is one of the applications that our schools will find most useful,’ said Craig McAlister, Managing Director at TASS. ‘We’re excited to provide our customers with a high-quality similarity checking solution that integrates with their existing LMS. It is important to us that this integration meets our customer’s integrity requirements, while also providing better teaching and learning experiences.’
